Just over one year ago Jen decided we should remodel the living room. We wanted to change the lighting in the room so we cracked open the time capsule of nightmares past. It turns out that every monkey that had done work on this house over the past 60+ must have been about as competent as a kindegartener. The wiring in the house was daisy chained in circles and had been so hot that the insulation had burned off and nearly started the house on fire. So going against my better judgment I decided to rewire the whole house. After tearing out some wiring I decided to take out a wall. After taking out the wall I decided to replace some more windows. Pretty soon there were no cabinets, floor, ceiling or walls in the kitchen and living room. Just a couple weeks ago we finished the job. Most people didn't have the vision to see what was in our heads but when it was finished it all made sense. It might be a little too much for the average white walls and tan carpet bunch, but we love it.

I still want to know when you guys are coming to help us re-decorate? I think it looks awesome.
I think you guys should go into the remodeling business. Still wondering when your going to come remodel our bathroom? :0) Just kidding. We have it all torn apart though. Now it is putting it back together.
